The truth about what cancer says about us as a species.

Many spiritual teachings reveal that the disease of the time is a reflection of the negative collective consciousness of the people within that time. In the Old Testament, we read a lot about Leprosy. The Torah reveals that this disease was related to a term that is called- Lashon Harah. The direct translation of this is evil tongue- speaking badly about others. In the 80's we saw HIV and AIDS sweeping our world like an epidemic. The sexual revolution of the 60's bled into a more deviant and porn infested 70's and then of course we peaked with HIV and AIDS. Obviously the universe was crying out for us to take sexuality back to a more sacred and caring place and the disease helped balance out our mindset. Once this had occurred, a cure was found. Today they say that cancer will affect one in four people during their lifetime. We have all met, lost or cared for a friend, family member or loved one who has been afflicted by the disease. With so much money being thrown at cancer research, one really wonders why we haven't found a cure. I believe the cancer industry isn't looking for a cure. The cancer industry is looking to help people survive cancer, but not find an ultimate cure that will rid the world of this billion-dollar industry. Heaven forbid! What would they do with all the MRI machines, technicians, pharmacists, oncologists, radiologists, the list is endless...Cancer reflects a society of greed and overconsumption, a society where money means more than people. The food industry is built on the same principles. Whether it's farming animals or vegetables, this multibillion dollar industry is cruel to the earth as well as its animals and is also built on greed. The result is once again... cancer.  When we get to the point that those people who are keeping it all going begin to realise that they too do not want to loose another loved one or watch them suffer, maybe then the disease will disappear from our world.

I am a cancer survivor. I understand the cancer system better than many. While navigating the system, I was met with many heartless doctors who saw me as a "kaching" number and not as a person. I found that the system was built to induce fear as opposed to empower people with choice and solid knowledge on how to listen to your inner voice and how to nurture and heal your body and soul. Many times when I asked a western doctor about alternative practices, they poo-pooed them and told me there was no evidence to prove these techniques effective.  I am not disputing that there are many wonderful doctors out there who truly have an intention to heal and save lives. There are. I met a few like that too, but not enough. I truly hope that as we move forward, people will learn to make choices backed by the highest of intention, whether it be professionally or personally. People need to understand that we have a responsibility toward the wellbeing of our planet and each other and if we do not behave accordingly, we will destroy both. I believe that when we begin to behave in this manner, cancer will slowly fall away.
